Park History:

The first Medina Park was west of town, south of old Highway #10. Then on the north side of old #10 was a private park owned by Rudoph Graf which was used more and was a better site.

Today's park was organized in 1960, located for easy access on the south side of Medina on the east side of the highway. An old gravel pit was leveled with help from the National Guard.

Later, as community project, area businesses, clubs, and many volunteers helped with fund drives, planting trees, build a tennis court, basketball hoops, picnic tables, shelters, water, sewer, playground equipment, flag pole, campground, planting flowers, and much more.
